A century ago, March 8 began as a cry for dignity, women standing up for fair Pay, SAFER WORKPLACES, and the right to be heard.

A century ago, March 8 began as a cry for dignity, women standing up for fair pay, safer workplaces, and the right to be heard.

But today, when I think about Women’s Day, I think about the everyday women around us.
The working moms trying to balance jobs and family. The stay at home mothers raising the next generation. The daughter’s caring for our parents. The women who quietly carry the weight of their families and still show up with strength and grace.

I’ve been in many of those seasons myself; working, staying home with my children, caring for family. And if you’re in one of those seasons right now, I just want to say: I see you. Your work matters.

Some women change history on big stages.
But many change the world in small, everyday ways, inside homes, workplaces, and communities.

Today we celebrate all of them.

Happy International Women’s Day.
